I’ll try to update the review with photos of my desk pad. I love the pad itself! It’s a great size and is beautiful on my desk. The coaster still hasn’t completely flattened out and the 2 chamois wipes weren’t in the box as stated would be. I received a message giving me care instructions, but I couldn’t reply back regarding the missing wipes.I’m very impressed with the quality and feel of this leather. It arrived in very nice packaging (suitable for a gift) I’ve got it on my desk and so far my only complaint is that I wish they made one even bigger than the XL. I would buy this again for myself or as a giftI ordered two of these in the same color. They are very nice and appear to be sturdy, not frayed and will work nicely for us. However, with this order, I only received one box, one coaster and one set of wipes. So, I would greatly appreciate receiving the rest of the order. You do not need to send me the box that it should have come in.While the leather appears to be genuine good quality, it was rolled up tighter than a garage door spring and would absolutely not lay flat. I ironed it on low heat, placed it between two flat sheets of plywood with heavy weights on top for two days and it still won't fully uncurl. The video shows the mat perfectly unrolling flat right out of the box. Very disappointed for the money I spent, I was looking forward to using immediately. So I will try condition with leather conditioner and alternate ironing and placing more weight on it since I can't afford to buy another model.This leather pad is totally worth the money. First off, the leather is thick! The quality is fantastic, and for the price, it's a deal. The coaster is just a bonus!The mouse glides over the pad's surface, and it is incredibly smooth. As far as looks go, it's prettier than the pictures. It has a rich brown color and makes the office look sleek and modern.The pad is heavy enough, so it doesn't slide around and stays put. There is no friction when using it, and I'm very impressed with the quality. This pad would be very easy to clean, and I know this is a piece that will hold up for a long time.This product is exactly as described. Very nice piece of leather. The leather is treated nicely and there is no chemical odor and a very light leather smell. the coaster is nice. Liquids bead up nicely making it east to wipe clean. Dust and hair don't stick and wipe off just as easily. As far as durability is concerned I have not owned the product long enough to give a fair assessment for its durability or how nicely it patinas. I will give an update after 6 months or so. After comparing this product to a few other real leather pads this one is not only worth the money but it is also not stiff and rolls and unrolls nicely laying flat on the desk every time. I definitely recommend this product for someone who travels for work or for your home desk.For the price the quality is terrible. The leather feels more like cardboard. Even after pressing under a flat surface overnight, the hardness of this pad prevents it to be fully flat.The only consolation is that the color is nice!This is a nice piece of leather. Has a nice leather smell and feel. The dark brown looks good and feels good on my desk.Was packaged in a fancy box with the extras. Those didn't really matter to me.I think the quality is definitely here. Value is harder to assess. I don't think even this nice a piece of leather should cost so much, even tho it is less than many competitors are charging. I don't understand it and was tempted to take off a star for value. But value is subjective...I decided 5 stars because if this were a gift, either as a giver or a recipient I think it would be 5 stars. So 5 stars it is.
