Loved it it's a perfect size for small office.Years ago I had a hefty, L-shaped desk that was given to me as a wedding gift. Well, it was regifted since I'm pretty sure it was built before I was born. In any event, after I moved into an apartment a few years later, I had no room for it and so it went into storage. When I purchased a new home, I decided it wasn't a good fit for our house and so it stayed in storage still. I purchased a smaller desk that mostly served my purposes.Then about two years ago I started doing more podcasting and blogging and needed more room on which to place a microphone, books for research, and more. After doing a few days worth of research on L-shaped desk, I stumbled on this one on Amazon, measured out how it might fit in my man cave where I keep my library, and clicked the purchase button. I've not regretted it. It was far more room than my old desk, more space for books, and looks nice in the space in which I put it. My wife helped me assemble it (she's sweet like that) and it only took about an hour to do so. (It would have taken less time but why is it kids always need something right when you're working on something and nothing when you've got nothing else going on?)Sturdy and reliable, this desk is one I would definitely purchase again if I needed to. But given how well made it is, I doubt I'll need to for many years to come.Alright, for the money it's not bad. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because of the cam locks that won't lock. I ended up using a finish nailer to attach that particular piece. Everything else was fine just the cam locks.There are many L-shaped desks available in this price range. Thankfully, this one met all my expectations and was exactly as advertised. The desk can be configured flat, or as an L-shape. There are multiple mounting holes available so that when configured as an L, the lower surface can be fully overlapped, without extending past the top surface (shown in the product images). This is a feature that other similar desks do not have, and it was crucial to getting this desk to fit in my space, which is exactly 47" wide.Other things:Despite the product page only showing renders and no actual photos of the product, the desk I received (black color) matched the design fully. The packaging was well done and there was no damage to any of the parts upon receipt. Tools and hardware are included, as well as spare parts. The included instructions are clear enough. Fit and finish was good/appropriate for the price. Legs & frame are steel, surfaces are laminated particle board with a wood-look.Glad I bought it!This thing was a nightmare to put together, holes not lining up, screws missing, and then when you get it together it is not very sturdy at all. I don't have much faith it will last more than a year. I had to drill holes on 2 of the desks tops because the pre-drilled holes were at least 2 inches from lining up. Then when I finally got on the last step figured out I was missing a screw to hold the desk together. I had to back out the screw i needed, try and find one at the house, then go to the store to purchase one to finish the desk up. What a pain in the ass!I love this desk! I bought it because it’s so convenient and you can change it to three different styles if need to! I share a small office with my husband. So when we need more room we can just make it smaller. Definitely the best bang for your buck in small offices.everything was provided, all items were intact, the instructions were easy, looks niceThis was one of the cheapest desks I could find and it includes a whole shelf, which I filled with books. It looks beautiful and incredibly useful. The desk itself is also pretty long and comfortable. Great buy!
