It has a minimalist feel that allows me to tuck my laptop underneath when not in use. I went to the local hardware store and bought wheels to attach to the bottom. This desk gets rolled around my entire house and is holding up great with every day useArrived in good condition. Assembly required attention, but was not difficult to do correctly with simple tools. Using this as a work space and the 47" size is big enough for a monitor, laptop. keyboard, paper notebook, cup of coffee. The shelf underneath basically doubles the space and keeps the desktop free from clutter. This works better than a drawer, and I put a desk mat on top to "hide" the shelf underneath.Updating my apartment and settled on this desk to help lighten things up a bit. Took about twenty minutes to assemble. Shakes just a little, took me a second to get used to it but after a day I've figured out how to not be so rough with it.I like the width, more than enough room for my computer, something to eat, coffee, and the cat. I plan to grab two counter-height bar stools and use it as a table/seating when people are over.They make a matching coffee table too, which is awesome.This desk was so quick and easy to assemble and it is soo cute!The desk is beautiful and had easy to follow directions. The quality is worth the price. However, my desk was missing one of the small parts needed to assemble the desk properly. Luckily I was able to buy a replacement at a hardware store. I looked thoroughly to make sure it didn't fall out of the package, but it was nowhere. Annoying, but easily solvable.My desk is extremely sturdy and doesn’t rock. I made sure to tight install everything though. Glad I purchased and looks extremely nice.Great desk that fits in a not too large space.
