I waited a long time to get a task chair. This is perfect to help promote ergonomic sitting and working.I use it for typing at the keyboard and also for when sitting to sew... I used a cheap hard chair for a long time, but after having to be home at the table/desk for weeks has been KILLER on my back and body. Finally something more comfortable to sit in than standing for hours to iron masks... I even lowered my ironing table so I could sit in this chair and iron (due to back pain from the cheap chair that I am finally getting relief from).This chair immediately felt better, the swivel was not something I was looking for but is actually much appreciated and nice to have as part of this chair. The back rest is the height for lumbar support it should be.... the cheap high back chairs leave NO lumbar support. The tailbone area also feels much better for me.It fits more snugly under the table when I push it in to stand up. I love this new smooth looking chair, and aesthetically I suppose it is pleasing as well.
